2004 – The roots of Angel Armor technology begin as a byproduct from an advanced composite project initiated by EBS Carbon in Boulder, CO.
2005 – The armor technology evolves with new processes. Experimentations are successfully conducted with the latest materials.
2008 – Development of hard armor ballistics with new materials continues, including formed armor.
2009 – Development of semi-rigid and soft armor ballistics prove successful against 7.62×39 rounds.
2009 – Structural hard armor is developed for classified government program on rotorcraft.
2013 – EBS Carbon is acquired and Angel Armor, LLC is created to focus on the optimization of ballistic protection complete with a dedicated internal ballistics lab.
2014 – Angel Armor expands ballistic product lines from US Military to Law Enforcement, including trauma plates, ballistic door panels and modular barriers.
2016 – Angel Armor expands ballistic armor product lines to include a premium soft-armor ballistic vest and an innovative trauma plate system with rifle-round protection.
2017 – Angel Armor is positioned as the most complete vehicle armor provider in the industry with the launch of window armor designed to pair with ballistic door panels for full-door protection.
