When you wear a carrier every shift, the details matter. How it adjusts at your shoulders, where you keep essential equipment and how it works with your duty uniform all affect your daily setup.
That’s why Angel Armor has built on its RISE® Uniform Carrier 2.0 to introduce the 3.0, with improved shoulder comfort and adjustability, additional storage and a refined uniform appearance for everyday duty.
Designed for the Officer, by the Officer, the 3.0 focuses on practical improvements to the carrier you wear each day.
What Has Changed from the Uniform Carrier 2.0?
The Uniform Carrier 3.0 introduces four key updates:
- A new Velcro-based shoulder strap system for improved profile, comfort and adjustability.
- Two additional full-size drop pockets alongside the existing uniform pockets.
- New built-in elastic side pockets for additional equipment storage.
- An oval Velcro loop option for front badge attachment.
These changes give you more flexibility when adjusting your carrier and arranging your equipment. They build on established features, including the patented QuadCore® Belt System, custom officer sizing and communications management options.

More Adjustment Where Fit Matters
Your carrier’s fit starts with sizing, but adjustment is part of making it work for you.
The Uniform Carrier 3.0 introduces a new Velcro-based shoulder strap system that improves comfort, adjustability and profile. Alongside custom officer sizing, the updated straps let you refine how the carrier sits at your shoulders.
That adjustment is useful when setting up a carrier for regular wear. You can consider the shoulder fit together with the belt adjustment, tailoring the carrier to your body and the equipment configuration you use.
The design also accounts for your duty shirt. Adjustable shoulder epaulets and a soft V-neck profile improve collar integration, helping the carrier work with the uniform underneath it.
More Places for the Equipment You Carry
Storage needs to reflect what you carry each day. The Uniform Carrier 3.0 adds two full-size drop pockets alongside the existing uniform pockets, increasing the space available for essential equipment.
The two multifunctional, expandable uniform pockets continue to provide secure, accessible storage for items including cell phones. The additional drop pockets give you more choices when deciding where those daily essentials belong.
New built-in elastic side pockets expand storage at the sides of the carrier. A discreet, side-entry Napoleon Pocket provides another location.
Having several storage options allows you to plan your arrangement around the equipment you carry. You can review the built-in pockets alongside any approved pouches and accessories, then organize your setup within departmental requirements.
A Professional Appearance That Works With Your Uniform
Your carrier is part of your duty uniform. Its appearance and identification options need to meet your department’s standards.
The Uniform Carrier 3.0 combines a classic uniform appearance with expanded storage and an improved shoulder profile. The soft V-neck and adjustable shoulder epaulets improve duty shirt collar integration.
The new oval Velcro loop front badge attachment adds another identification option alongside Clean, Square Loop and Reinforced configurations. Front nameplates are available in Clean, Loop or Reinforced options, with Clean or Loop back identifiers. Together, these choices help you meet your department’s uniform and identification requirements.
Class B or Load Bearing: What Is the Difference?
The right configuration depends on your department’s uniform standards and how your equipment needs to be carried.
The Class B configuration provides a classic uniform appearance with built-in pocket storage. You get the updated shoulder system and additional pockets introduced with the 3.0 in a traditional uniform format.
The Load Bearing configuration features laser-cut MOLLE constructed from an exceptionally durable, tear-resistant, color-matching laminate. This provides attachment points for compatible equipment pouches and accessories.
If your approved setup includes mounted equipment, those attachment options are part of the configuration to review. Your department can specify the front appearance, belt cover and identification details to match its requirements.
The carrier is available in Black, Dark Navy, Green 483, Tan 499, Wolf Gray, Ranger Green, Spruce Green and Silver Tan.

Weight Distribution Through the QuadCore® Belt System
The patented QuadCore® Belt System remains central to the Uniform Carrier platform. It provides weight distribution through multiple adjustment points and 360 degrees of tension.
For your daily setup, this means fit can be adjusted through the belt as well as the shoulders. Custom officer sizing provides the foundation, while these adjustment points help you tailor the carrier’s fit.
The new shoulder straps build on that established system. The QuadCore® Belt System itself is carried forward from the existing platform.
FirstSpear® Tubes belt hardware with a magnetic cover flap supports rapid, repeatable deployment of the belt system. The carrier also features a proprietary antimicrobial mesh lining that wicks moisture and promotes ventilation during wear.
Planning Your Communications and Camera Placement
Your radio equipment, wiring and body camera also need a place in your carrier setup.
The Uniform Carrier 3.0 includes one upper center-mount communications tab. Optional laser-cut MOLLE communications tabs are available on both shoulders, and internal wiring routing ports support cable management.
An optional lower center-mount communications tab is designed to accommodate single MOLLE-mount body cameras.
These options let you and your department consider equipment placement when configuring the carrier. Reviewing mounting locations alongside pocket storage helps you account for the equipment you use throughout your shift.
How the Carrier Works With Your Armor
The Uniform Carrier 3.0 is part of the RISE® Body Armor System, a versatile protection platform built to match your current mission and your next.
The carrier houses the ballistic armor selected for your setup. Its shell does not provide ballistic protection on its own. RISE Armor Packages are available as upgrades, and the bottom-loading front and back plate pockets are compatible with Truth SNAP® plates for All Day Rifle Protection® when appropriately configured.
The shell is constructed from high-performance 500 Denier CORDURA® nylon and is made in the USA using high-quality materials.
The standard carrier package includes the Uniform Carrier 3.0, Belly Band and Shoulder Pads. Available upgrades include RISE Armor Packages, Truth SNAP® front and back plates, Ally One Pouches, Ally One ID Placards and Ally One Air Channel Inserts.
Angel Armor’s team can help you and your department review compatible armor packages and accessories for your requirements.

A Better Fit for Your Daily Duty
The Uniform Carrier 3.0 brings practical changes to the equipment you wear each day. The redesigned shoulders give you improved comfort and adjustability. Additional drop pockets and elastic side pockets increase storage capacity. Class B and Load Bearing configurations accommodate different uniform and equipment requirements.
Those improvements build on the QuadCore® Belt System and the broader RISE® platform, giving you more options when setting up your carrier.
